2K Sports announced today that NBA 2k7 the latest iteration in the company's pro basketball series, has officially gone gold; the game is considered code-complete and will enter manufacturing to reach stores next week.

For the new year, NBA 2k7 adds "Signature Style" player motion -- 300 unique animations for jumpshots, dribbles, dunks and the like -- to match real-life NBA players. The game's presentation is also enhanced with better lighting, 3D crowds, and 30 new gameplay cameras.

As far as actual play, NBA 2K7 adds a Streetball story mode, a new Create Player system, and a complete franchise mode. Players can also take their game online to compete against live opponents.

NBA 2k7 will be arriving in stores next week, I have a feeling it will be on tuesday for all the major consoles, and Yes the Xbox 360. So If you a big fan of basketball and like games you might want to check this out. Also I will have a review in the next week or so.
